The Daily Light is a Christ-centered daily devotional and spiritual resource for anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with God.

What is Our Mission

At The Daily Light, our mission is to help people grow in their understanding and relationship with God.

We do this by helping people develop a daily habit of prayer and meditation with God through our email newsletter and by creating educational content that is applicable to our modern world.

What Do We Believe

We believe that humans are made to live in connection with the creator of the universe (God) and that Jesus Christ was the son of God who lived on earth as a shining example of who we should follow for lasting peace, fulfillment, and prosperity.

We believe in the basics of the apostle’s creed.

We believe that a life with God at the center will create more lasting peace, fulfillment, prosperity, and joy than if we try to live out of our own selfishness.

We believe that God is loving, non-judgmental, forgiving, powerful, infinitely creative, personal, a peacemaker, inclusive, and a divine source of security and strength that we can always rely on to guide and deliver us.

We believe that the most important thing for each one of us is our authentic desire to know and connect with God in our own unique way no matter what background we come from.

We believe that a healthy spirituality also includes a healthy mental and emotional condition. This can’t be bypassed and each person must do their own internal work with God to find balance and purification in this regard.

We also believe that it is our natural tendency as humans to turn away from God and live selfishly if we don’t have the right support, education, commitment, and habits to grow in our relationship with God.

Our Content Focus

For our content, the timeless principles from the bible and the teachings of Jesus are our foundation.

We then connect these biblical principles with our modern scientific understanding of the world to create resources that are simple and applicable to our current times.

Our focus is on creating blog content that summarizes key books and passages as well as overall topic discussions for wisdom alongside a daily email newsletter that is part devotional and part educational encouragement.
